Day Three 8/3

No we aren't. Alarms rang at 630am and we both said, "Nope" and woke up at 11am. Turns out after 4 weeks straight of working/wedding planning and a crazy last week(end) we were pooped. We took it super easy and got some lunch at CJs Beach House super close to the water at Birch Bay. Brennan had a burger and I had some amazing fish and chips.

Then we headed north to visit the Peace Arch, a symbol of the unguarded border between the United States and Canada. It's a huge beautiful park that spans across both sides of the border with lawns, flowers and gazebos.
Despite signs stating the border was closed, we went to Canada. Broke the rules and everything. 
It was a beautiful park and we had a great time! 
This was the ceiling of a cool gazebo made of 6 different types of wood.

We headed back to Birch Bay for a waterfront sunset dinner. 
 
Let's try to wake up early tomorrow!

Day Seven 8/7

Day Seven we did a bit of the Mount Baker drive. Although we decided not to do the full 2 hour drive, it was gorgeous! We then decided to head into Bellingham and go to the Spark Museum of Electrical Invention. That was AMAZING. They had displays of artifacts from the birth of magnetic and electrical discovery/invention through radios, light bulbs, Morse code, telegraphs, telephones, televisions and microphones.   They also had an amazing hour-long show with demonstrations of electricity that ended with the Mega Zapper zapping the s*** out of a Faraday cage WITH A PERSON INSIDE. For $10! So obviously Brennan did that.  I also have some awesome videos, but I can't put them here so I'll have to send them out! That zapper is LOUD.
