Day 9 8/9
Day 9 and we are in Seattle!
First stop, the Boeing Museum of Future Flight, which is located next to the Boeing factory, which is the largest volume building in the world! This is me with the tail of a Boeing 747.There were tons of cool exhibits and lots of information about Boeing's new technologies!
By far the coolest thing we go to do was design our own aircraft and then test it in a simulator to see if it could acheive supersonic speeds! I got second place on the leaderboard, which felt pretty good.
They also had the original mockup for one of the modules for the ISS, which was awesome to walk through. We also saw the entire history of Boeing, including the evolution of it's aircraft, logo and achievements.
We agreed the Spark Museum was better, but only by the slightest margin.
For lunch we got Chinese/Sushi and it was amazing! We're stuffed!
Next we went back to the AirBnB to play more Monopoly and watch more tv.
We headed into Seattle for a sunset appointment with the Space Needle, since we missed it on our last trip.
Lastly we headed to Hot Cakes for dessert! It's a little hipstery shop specializing in molten lava cakes! We got the s'mores flavor.
